The 100, based on the books by Kass Morgan, this show takes place 100 years in the future, when the Earth has been abandoned because of the radioactivity. The last surviving humans live on a barge in orbit around the planet – but the sheets will not last forever. So the repressive regime arrested 100 young offenders interchangeable to send down to earth to see if the planet is habitable.
The series takes place 97 years after a devastating nuclear war almost wiped out all life on earth. The only known survivors are residents of twelve space stations in Earth orbit for war. Space stations are united in a mass station called “The Ark”, where about 2,400 people live forms. Resources are scarce and all crimes, regardless of the type or severity of the crime with death ( “float”), unless the offender is under 18. After the Ark systems of life has been shown to fail critically hundreds of underage prisoners have declared a “replaceable” and in a last desperate attempt to determine whether the Earth is habitable again sent to the surface. Teens are in a beautiful planet we have just seen from space. The comparison with the dangers of this new harsh world, struggling to form a temporary community. But they discover that it is not wiped out all of humanity. There are people on earth who survived the war, called the “country” with The 100. The sheets include former space station that the nations of the UK, US, Australia, Canada, China, Japan, India, Russia, Venezuela, France, Brazil and Uganda.
